A to Z Services tackles residential and commercial property repairs and maintenance with over 45 years of experience. Our skilled technicians handle a wide range of services: including HVAC; plumbing; electrical; and general maintenance. Our business license has us listed under "special trades" because we offer such a wide variety of services. Customers have asked for a list of services we provide beyond the 'business card': appliance installation and repair; septic services; well and pump services; mobile welding (like for fence repair); wood fence repair; minor roof leaks; gutter cleaning; vapor barrier in crawlspaces; humidity control in crawlspaces or basements; minor foundation repair; gas log fireplace services; water heater replacement or repair; drywall repair; asphalt patching; mold remediation; duct cleaning; and MORE.....
We travel the state (and sometimes accept jobs over the border).
Tom Ferguson
Some refer to Tom as 'Superman' and others as 'MacGyver'; whatever complimentary nickname is used, he is a great resource to have in your corner. Tom grew up in the Joplin area, benefitting greatly by greatness of his hardworking father. He started work young; helping work in his dad's autobody shop, baling hay on neighboring farms, or even building fireplaces for the neighbors to supplement winter heating options. He started his career in plumbing with Cecil Brill of Brill Construction in Joplin, MO. Time in the US Army gave Tom an eye-opening experience and when he finished service, he moved to the Springfield area. Bob Adams Plumbing brought him onboard to continue his plumbing experience. Next, he partnered with Gary Cooley of Cooley's Plumbing and stayed with Gary until branching out on his own in 1999. Over the years, Tom has worked diligently to learn all he could from "A to Z" to be able to fully handle any needs his customers may have.
Meet The Team
Jeff Moorefield
With A-Z since 1999, Jeff's prior areas of expertise were in masonry, concrete, and tile work. He is detail oriented and meticulous! He has been a reliable part of our team; helping to care for our customers with tasks that range from getting pesky critters out of attics or crawlspaces, fixing a furnace that isn't working, fixing drywall, fixing a dryer that won't heat up, troubleshooting electrical issues or installing new fixtures, clearing that clogged up waste line, installing or fixing a crawlspace vapor barrier, or countless other projects.
Devin Spartan
Not a fan of getting his picture taken, but good enough we think you'll recognize him. Devin started his working years working with Indian Summer Pool & Spa. He advanced his overall knowledge while working for a local home builder, building homes from foundation through the finish work--2 guys doing every bit of it! Just prior to coming on board with our team, he completed the electrical projects for big box stores like Wal-Mart, Dollar General, and grocery stores throughout the region.
Phaedra Ferguson
Phaedra runs the day to day business operations, scheduling, marketing, AP/AR, human resources, parts runner, and cheerleader! More than likely, Phaedra is the voice on the other end of the phone call, text, and/or emails.
Bishop Ferguson
Manager-In-Training
Bishop often oversees Phaedra's work in the office, but sometimes makes field visits to ensure the work is A+!
